I won't quote you a retainer before I've seen the account

Every agency will. They'll quote from a discovery call, on your description of the problem, and they'll be wrong — because founders almost never describe the actual problem. They describe the symptom.

'Our ROAS dropped' is a symptom. The cause is usually one of six things, and five of them are not the ads.

"So I look first. If the account is fixable, I'll tell you what it costs to fix. If it isn't — if the problem is margin, product, or fulfilment — I'll tell you that too, and you'll have saved yourself a retainer."

What's in the diagnostic

Tracking integrity

Pixel and CAPI deduplication. Event match quality. Whether Meta's reported revenue reconciles with your store's. Most accounts I open are optimising against numbers that are wrong — and every decision downstream inherits the error.

Funnel economics

Contribution margin per order, not gross ROAS. True CAC versus blended CAC. Break-even ROAS calculated from your actual margin. The number that tells you whether the account can work at all.

Creative performance

Hook rate, hold rate, and where the retention curve breaks. Which creatives are carrying the account and which are being kept alive by budget.

Account structure

Campaign architecture, budget allocation, audience overlap, and where spend is being wasted on duplicated reach.

Post-purchase leakage

RTO rate, COD ratio, repeat rate. In Indian D2C this is frequently the largest single leak, and it never shows up in Ads Manager.

The deliverable is a written report. Every finding quantified in rupees per month, ranked by what to fix first. Yours whether or not we work together.

If you want me to fix it

The diagnostic ends with a recommendation, not a pitch. There are three possible outcomes.

The account is fixable and I'm the right person. I'll scope the work and quote a retainer. Your ₹25,000 comes off month one.

The account is fixable but you don't need me. Some of what I find, your existing team can execute straight from the report. I'll say so.

The problem isn't the ads. If your margin can't support paid acquisition, or your product has no organic traction, no media buyer fixes that. I'll tell you what I'd do instead.

I take three clients at a time. That's the limit of doing this properly as one person, so the third outcome happens more often than it would at an agency that needs the retainer.

What I won't promise

I won't guarantee a ROAS number. Anyone who does is either lying or hasn't looked at your account.

I don't control your product, your pricing, your landing page, or whether your pixel is reporting honestly — and guaranteeing a number means signing up to be responsible for all four.

What I guarantee is the process: the diagnostic delivered in seven days, every finding quantified, and an honest answer about whether the account can hit your target — before you've paid me a rupee to try.

Questions

Why should I pay for an audit when agencies give them free?

Because a free audit is a sales document. It's designed to find problems only a retainer solves, and it stops looking once it's found one. A paid diagnostic has no reason to reach a particular conclusion — including the conclusion that you shouldn't hire me.

What if you don't find anything?

Then you get the fee back in full. If I can't identify a quantified leak worth more than ₹25,000 a month, I haven't earned it.

Do I have to hire you afterwards?

No. The report is yours either way. Roughly a third of diagnostics should end with me telling you the problem isn't media buying.

What access do you need?

Read access to Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads if you're running it, GA4, and your Shopify or WooCommerce backend. Read-only. I don't change anything during a diagnostic.

How is this different from the audit my current agency runs?

Your agency's audit is scored by your agency. Mine includes whether your agency is the problem.

I'm spending less than ₹50K a month. Can you still help?

Probably not profitably. Below that, the leaks are usually too small to justify the fee, and your money is better spent on product and organic traction first. I'd rather say that now than take your ₹₹25,000.

Is Rapid Growth an agency?

No. I'm one person. You get the same operator on your account every week rather than a team you meet once at the pitch.
